MARATHON • HALF-MARATHON • 10K • 5K The trail races consist of four different distance options: a marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K. All races take place along the Pacific Crest Trail and will have well-stocked, well-manned aid stations with an incredible finish line feast to celebrate your achievement. Click on the maps and elevation profiles below to get a larger view. MARATHON Runners will start at the Lake Hughes Community Center, and run up 7N05 3.4 miles to aid station #1. Stay right on 6N04 towards Grass Mountain, and then make a right to get onto the Pacific Crest Trail. Follow the PCT back towards aid station #2 which is mile 8.7. From here runners will take the Pacific Crest Trail down 3.3 miles to the Lake Hughes Road Aid Station. Runners will then cross Lake hughes Road, and head out to the mile 16 aid station, which is also the turn around. There is a DROP BAG option here. From here runners will turn around, and head 4 miles back to the Lake hughes Road aid station, and cross the road. You will then run back up the Pacific Crest Trail for 3.3 miles to the last aid station at the junction of 6N04&7N05. From here runners will make a hard left and head the 3.4 miles back to the finish. This marathon course is exactly 26.6 miles..a little over 26.2!! BACK TO TOP HALF-MARATHON Runners will start at the Lake hughes Community Center, and run up 7N05 3.4 miles to aid station #1. From here runners will make a hard right down the Pacific Crest trail for 3.3 miles to the Lake hughes Road aid station. From here runners will be at mile 6.7. You will then turn around, and head 3.3 miles back up the Pacific Crest trail to your last aid station which is mile 10. From here runners will make a hard left back down 7N05 3.3 miles to the finish line. BACK TO TOP 10K BACK TO TOP 5K BACK TO TOP
